here is just a fun study, whenever im looking at art i mostly look at Korean games and other Asian artists and game art because i love how they paint the female figure, exaggerated, sexy and great clothing design, regardless if its bikini armor or not, something western artists tend to shun or rant ...

2 digital studies from today, its gonna be hard to show studies here because i do most of my studies in my sketchbook, and most of my thumbnailing and designing there too, maybe ill do a pencil dump later

another 1hr warm up value comp practice, from a chris rahn painting, i learnt that he separated the values using a light source, whereas i separated the values with fore mid and background only, im going to try that out next time

here are some recent studies, the 3 value studies are focused value separation practice, where i trace over another artists illustration (Jesper Ejsing), and then attempt to build a lighting composition of my own, to test how well i can separate values and light a scene. this is just warm up practic...

Recent acrylic master study i finished. I learn so much from traditional paintings. My paintings i posted above are actually improvements because of practing traditionally.
