Re: Build a Boss

-Give the boss an underwater level. Underwater levels are swell. -Make sure he's located far away from the nearest save point/respawn point -ALL THE RNG, if you want to drive speedgamers and other optimizers insane make sure everything he does is heavily rng-based, no fixed patterns unless those pat...

Re: TAP Challenge #53: Traveling Merchant

An initial idea and a quick sketch. Mainly this challenge just made me want to draw a horse/elephant pack-animal hybrid. http://i.imgur.com/fROAHq4.jpg I think if I decide to redraw this I'll move the animal's head a bit more to the left. It seems a bit heavy/unbalanced towards the front the way it ...

Re: TAP Challenge #44: Killing Machine

Some quick initial studies and ideas. There's some good stuff in the WH4k Dark Heresy/Rogue Trader RPG-books when it comes to cybernetics and bionic implants. Synthskin armor is something I find particularly interesting, but I don't know how to illustrate that in a way that makes it obvious what it ...

Another attempt at a portrait. This one actually looks like the person I was trying to draw so starting to feel it's getting better.

Re: Art Posse Study/Accountability Buddies!

I could use an accountability buddy. My goal is to draw at least one sketch/drawing/study every day for the rest of the year. I'm fairly new so I struggle with just about everything. My strengths are my sparkling personality and awkward yet endearing attempts at social interaction. My timezone is GM...

Rocketp4nts sketchbook

I'm new. Both to these forums and to drawing. Or at least I haven't been drawing/painting consistently for the last 10 years. Anyways, I'll try to keep this thread restricted to drawings I do somewhat seriously. I do daily droodles/updates on instagram , if anyone's interested in that. All critique ...

Re: How many hours of practice?

Disclaimer: IANAD and also most of this is fairly obvious I guess. While I set my goals fairly low (1 sketch per day), I usually end up drawing for somewhere between 2-6 hours every day. Drawing is one of those things that gets me into hyperfocus-mode, so when I get going I usually don't stop until ...

Hi

I'm a fairly awkward 31 y old Norwegian. After not touching any of my art supplies for the last 10 years I decided to pick it up again this year. I decided to do a challenge where I make myself draw a minimum of one sketch every day for the whole year, which I'm still keeping up with (for now). Outs...
