The pose looks a bit stagnant. I think the gesture needs to be explored a little bit more. The arms are looking really good so far, and I really dig the entire concept of the magic battering ram, and the design of said ram is awesome!

I think the bulk of the issue is in the spine (as most gestural problems are) and in the pelvis. The spine is too vertical. The key, especially in early stages of character design, is to OVER emphasize the pose. Make it more dynamic. Really throw the character's posture as if he's straining to point, and putting a lot of umph and energy into directing people forward. As structure is added onto a gesture/sketch, it naturally stiffens the pose more and more. If you have an overly dynamic/emphasized pose to begin with, the natural stiffening won't be as noticeable or detrimental to the overall figure.
